I am really really really really...really...obsessed with Tetris right now. I just used homework as an excuse to get away from my boyfriend for a few minutes because I do need to do homework...but I also wanted to play Tetris. Sometimes, I make up imaginary games in my head and then get pissed off when EVEN IN MY HEAD the pieces dont go where I want them to because the computer in my head glitches. >.<>.<
You know what pisses me off? Kellogg hall. I hate this building because people here are (generally) ignorant and loud and obnoxious. I love my major and all, but I just dont click with most comm majors. I go outside my door, look outside and there's some moron lighting up in the backyard where everyone can see him. Wow. Seriously?
What also bugs me is that my RA (though she's pretty cool) told me to be quiet at 3:30 in the afternoon because she was sleeping even though she does nothing about the people in the hallway who scream and play guitar at 2:30 am. Actually, the guy who plays guitar is really good, so I dont mind him all that much. It's really more the people who sit outside of my door and talk really loud at all hours of the night who get to me. It's rude, inconsiderate, and they have no singing talents whatsoever...even though they seem to think they do. =(
Lastly, I have decided to take tapdancing sometime during my college career. I really cant wait to go to my advisement and tell my adviser that I want to add another minor and take classes like tapdancing, ballroom, Ancient Mayan, and Shakespeare. But I figure I should really pursue some of these interests while I'm still in school. I guess it sounds like a lot to do in four years, especially with marching band every fall semester, but I'm determined to make college a fun experience as well as educational. Besides, Keith and I figured out that my major (RT) plus two minors (German and Anthropology) equals about 86 hours total. Meanwhile, his major alone (Mechanical Engineering) is about 96 hours. It's stuff like this that lets Keith get away with being so encouraging about all the weird stuff I want to do. ("If you want to tapdance, then do it!") I'd ask him to do it with me, but I know his workload is ridiculous as it is. =(
I'm not really sure why I just wrote this, but I guess I just needed to update my blog a bit as I've been updating my life.
Now to stop procrastinating and get my homework done...
